I believe communication is art, and everyone has a story to tell. Relationships build community, and community is built through storytelling.
Fast-paced environments give me engery to take chances. I see beauty in the unknown and adventure in new places.
Comfort zones mean no growth. We choose where we want to go, and goals are the only way to get there.
My journey to Auburn was not a far one. I grew up in Birmingham, and always called the Plains my second home. My family has had season’s football tickets since 1957, and I have been cheering for the Tigers ever since I was old enough to attend my first game. So naturally, Auburn was an easy choice.
In addition to the orange and blue shakers I have held since age 12, I am also a third-generation member of the Track and Field team at Auburn. College sports are an important part of who I am, teaching me the value of responsibility, self-discipline and hard work.
During my time as a student, I have interned at the Auburn Network and Athletic Department, with experience in strategic communications as well as event operations. I also spent a summer in Baltimore as a Sports Marketing intern for Under Armour, where I was able to take my experience and education outside of Auburn. My athletics experience has equipped me with a unique skill set that I believe makes me well-rounded both personally and professionally.
